Hi, I'm Russel Rivera, founder and president of Voice Wealth Management, and welcome to Sidewalk Talk. Well, if you look around, it's summer, and that means it's time to start planning those vacations with your family so that you can have those epic experiences that you and everyone else will be remembering for the rest of their lives.
There is a little problem with that, though. Sometimes those epic experiences can come with a heck of a lot of costs, and you're going to feel like you're spending your whole fall catching up, paying off for those experiences until it's time to start buying holiday gifts in December. Well, I've worked with clients on this. Really planning ahead makes a huge difference. Thinking about how to find those experiences that are particularly meaningful to you, setting a budget so that you're focused on those things that will bring you the most.
Maybe it's not necessarily getting the best hotel, maybe it's driving instead of flying and making those experiences a little bit better when you're actually there where you want to be and having fun. Well, our family last year took an epic trip to California. We went to all the major league ballparks. We had amazing experiences, but of course, all the planning ahead that we did, made sure that we didn't spend so much money that we were knocking ourselves over saying, where is all this money going? So at the end of the day, we felt great about what we did. Everybody had a wonderful time, and we felt good at the end of it, not thinking that we overspent.
If you're thinking about your summer vacation and how to do it and how to get the most out of it, you can visit voicewealth.com or give us a call, schedule a consultation, and we're happy to help you deal with the budget experiences, not just for your vacations, but for everything else in your life that hopefully we'll bring you meaning going forward. Thanks for watching, and we'll see you next time.
